So, the baby has officially changed from an embryo to a fetus, which I feel is kind of exciting..... it makes it sound more human! haha! I have been terribly sick and it is AWFUL, not to mention that we dont have air conditioning in our house STILL, but it gets installed TODAY and my life will be a billion times better! Luckily we had a window unit in our bedroom and that made sleeping a LOT easier!
I never knew how tired you are when you are pregnant! I hear that the first trimester is the worst, and god I hope so, cause this is TERRIBLE! I am constantly nauseas and always exhausted to the point where I could lay down and take a nap at any time of day! But in about a month I will be moving on to my 2nd trimester and hopefully get that infamous energy boost that everyone keeps telling me about!! But this will all be worth it in about 7 months when I get to meet my baby! CANT WAIT! Here is some info on what my baby is doing right now:

Your fetus is now about one inch long, the size of a medium green olive. The head has straightened out, the ears are much more prominent, and some new organs (the liver, spleen, and gallbladder) are forming.

ReplyDeleteYAY! I am so excited for you! I'm sorry you feel so crappy now but like they always told me, this will pass. I didn't get my energy back until like 18 weeks or so but then I felt great so you can look forward to that! Everyone always told me to enjoy every second of everything because you'll wish you could remember the way you felt. Crazy I know but it's true I guess! Let me know if you want to know about labor and delivery since mine is still so fresh in my mind, I know you are probably curious. You are going to be the cutest pregnant lady EVER!
