Last week of the first tri!

I am SOOOOOOOO excited that as of next week I will be moving into my second trimester, which I have heard over and over again is much better then the first trimester! It is already going so fast and I know the next couple months will go even quicker since I am going to be a busy busy girl! I have been CRAZY busy with choreography for my two dance teams: urbandale High School and Grand View University ........ only 2 routines left to go, so I will be completely dont with them by the end of August! Phew! Just in time for me to start getting too big of a belly to properly demonstrate routines! haha

Also, THIS Friday we are leaving for our Wyoming/South Dakota road trip .... were going to a wedding for the first part of the weekend and then leaving for Mount Rushmoore, Devils Tower, Camping, Hiking, the Badlands, etc! Should be REALLY fun and I am really really looking forward to a break from my daily routine! Hoping my stomach will hold up with the high altitude and long car rides! YIKES!

Well in baby news....... I have been doing a little better, just sick from time to time but not as bad..... just a little dizzy and upset stomach. Here is my weekly update from what to expect:

Week 13
Feeling better yet? Now that you're just a week away from the second trimester at 13 weeks pregnant, you should be feeling pretty good soon (after all, the second trimester doesn't get its reputation for being the easiest and most comfortable of the three trimesters for nothing). But if you're not feeling better yet, don't worry. While most early pregnancy symptoms will probably soon be behind you, some women find that nausea and fatigue linger into the fourth and even fifth months. And unfortunately, for some women, those and other usual first trimester suspects (such as bloating, constipation, headaches, and breast tenderness) can continue to some extent throughout pregnancy.

  1. Hey Stef! So good to hear from you!!!! I'm so excited that you are pregnant too! Looks like you are doing choreography for some teams- how fun! Is that your job or do you have another job too? What else are you up to? It's been waaayyy too long :) Hope your trip is good...I've traveled a ton since being pregnant and it has been fine every time- even with the altitudes, etc.
